3. Installation
This light can be installed for wall mounting and soffit/eave mounting. Follow these steps carefully.
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Screwdriver
- Wire Strippers
- Electrical Tape
- Safety Glasses
Installation Steps:
- Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting. Ensure the junction box is securely installed (junction box not included).
- Fix Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate onto the junction box using the provided screws.
- Connect Wires: Connect the household wires to the light fixture wires:
- Black (Hot) to Black (Hot)
- White (Negative) to White (Negative)
- Green (Ground) to Green (Ground)
- Mount the Light: Carefully align the light fixture with the mounting plate and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure all wires are tucked safely into the junction box.
- Adjust Light Heads: Adjust the light heads to the desired illumination angle. The 320° adjustable design allows for wide coverage.

4. Operating Instructions
The SANSI motion sensor light offers four distinct operating modes and adjustable settings for customization.
Operating Modes:
Use the mode switch on the sensor unit to select the desired operating mode.
- AUTO (Motion Sensor Mode): The light will automatically turn on at night when motion is detected. It will stay on for 1 to 10 minutes (adjustable) after motion ceases, then turn off.
- Dusk to Dawn Mode: The light will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, regardless of motion.
- On-Time Mode: The light functions like a standard light, controlled manually by a wall switch. It will remain on until manually switched off.
- Test Mode: Designed for testing the sensor's functionality. The light will turn on for 5 seconds when motion is detected, whether it's daytime or nighttime. This mode is useful during installation to verify sensor placement and range.

Sensor Adjustments:
The motion sensor unit features three adjustable knobs for fine-tuning performance:
- LUX (Brightness Sensitivity): This knob controls the ambient brightness level at which the sensor becomes active. If the ambient brightness is higher than your setting, the light will consider it "daytime" and will not activate (in AUTO mode). If the brightness is lower, it's considered "night" and the light will activate upon motion.
- TIME (Lighting Duration): This knob adjusts how long the light stays on after motion is detected and ceases. The duration can be set from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
- RANGE (Detection Distance): This knob adjusts the sensitivity of the motion sensor, controlling the maximum detection range up to 72 feet.

Preventing Light Interference:
To prevent false triggers or continuous illumination due to reflected light, apply black tape behind the sensor. Ensure the bottom light sensor is not covered.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your SANSI LED Security Light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Annually inspect the wiring and mounting hardware for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections.
- No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED chips are integrated and not user-replaceable. Do not attempt to open the light heads.
