Setup Guide

Follow these steps for a quick and successful setup of your weeryyi Wireless HDMI system:

Quick Matching Guide for weeryyi Wireless HDMI system

Image: A visual guide detailing the three steps for quick matching and pairing of the wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver.

  1. Power On: Power up both the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) using the provided 5V/2A adapters and USB-C cables. The red indicator light on both units should turn on.
  2. Connect HDMI: Connect the "HD OUT" port of the Receiver (RX) to the "HD IN" port of your display (e.g., TV, monitor, projector) via an HDMI cable. If using the HDMI loop-out feature, plug another HDMI cable into the "Loop-Out" port on the Transmitter (TX) and connect it to a local display.
  3. Pairing Confirmation: Once the units are successfully paired, you will see the IP address and Wi-Fi signal displayed on your connected screen. The green light on the Transmitter (TX) will flash to indicate successful pairing.

Attention: If pairing is not successful, press and hold the reset button on both the Transmitter and Receiver for 2 seconds. The light will turn green, then repeat steps 2 and 3.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  • Once powered on and paired, the system operates automatically. The transmitter sends the HDMI signal wirelessly to the receiver, which then outputs it to your display.
  • Ensure the antennas are securely attached and oriented for optimal signal reception.

Multi-Receiver Setup (1TX to 4RX):

To connect additional receivers (up to a total of four) to a single transmitter:

  1. Ensure the primary transmitter and receiver are already paired and functioning.
  2. Power on the new receiver(s).
  3. Follow the pairing steps outlined in the Setup Guide for each new receiver. The system is designed to automatically pair additional receivers to the active transmitter.

IR Remote Control Extender:

The IR extender allows you to control your source device (e.g., DVD player, set-top box) from the location of your receiver and display.

  1. Connect the IR extender cable to the IR port on the Transmitter unit.
  2. Position the IR emitter head near the IR sensor of your source device.
  3. From the receiver location, point your original remote control towards the receiver unit. The receiver will relay the IR signal back to the transmitter, which then sends it to your source device.

Audio Input and Output:

The system supports audio input on the transmitter and audio separation on the receiver.

  • Transmitter (TX) Audio Input: The AMS interface on the TX unit is used to collect external audio sources, such as MP3 players, external microphones for cameras, or phones. This audio is then transmitted wirelessly along with the video to the receiver.
  • Receiver (RX) Audio Separation: By plugging headphones into the AMS port on the RX unit, you can monitor the live audio being transmitted. This is useful for ensuring audio quality during live broadcasts or recordings.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your weeryyi Wireless HDMI system, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the units. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or internal components.
  • Storage: Store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Power Adapters: Always use the original 5V/2A power adapters and USB-C cables provided with the product. Using incompatible chargers may lead to signal drops or damage the device.
  • Antennas: Handle the antennas with care. Ensure they are securely screwed into place but do not overtighten. Avoid bending or forcing them, as this can affect signal quality.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the units have adequate ventilation during operation to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation holes.
