Setup

1. Battery Installation

The dretec Digital Timer T-792DG requires one AAA battery (not included). To install:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
2. Slide the cover downwards to open.
3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Initial Power On

1. Setting and Starting the Countdown Timer

3. Press the START STOP button to begin the countdown. The display will show the time decreasing.
4. To pause the countdown, press START STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
5. When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound for approximately 15 seconds.
6. To stop the alarm, press any button. The timer will automatically return to the last set time, which is useful for repeated tasks.
7. To clear the set time, press the RESET button.

2. Using the Count-Up Timer

1. Ensure the timer is in Timer mode and the display shows "00:00". If not, press the RESET button.
2. Press the START STOP button to begin counting up from zero.
3. To pause the count-up, press START STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
4. To reset the count-up timer to zero, press the RESET button.

3. Memory Function

After a countdown timer finishes and the alarm is stopped, the timer automatically stores the last set time. This allows for quick reuse of the same time setting without re-entering the values. Simply press START STOP to begin the countdown again with the memorized time.

4. Clock Mode

1. Press the TIMER CLOCK button to switch from Timer mode to Clock mode. The display will show the current time.
2. To set the time in Clock mode: While in Clock mode, press and hold the TIMER CLOCK button for a few seconds until the hour digits start flashing.
3. Use the 10 MIN and 1 MIN buttons to adjust the hour.
4. Press the TIMER CLOCK button again to switch to setting the minutes. Use the 10 SEC and RESET buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press TIMER CLOCK one more time to confirm the setting and exit time setting mode.

5. Alarm Sound
