2.2 Vehicle Compatibility
This stereo is designed to fit double DIN dash openings with an OEM CD size of 178mm x 100mm. If your vehicle's dashboard opening is not this exact size, an additional installation kit (not included) may be required to ensure a proper fit.

The power cable provided is ISO standard. Verify if your factory car radio uses an ISO connector. If not, an adapter cable (not included) will be necessary for connection.
2.3 Wiring and Connections
Proper wiring is crucial for the stereo's functionality and safety. Consult a professional installer if you are unsure about any wiring steps.
- Power Cable: Connect the ISO standard power cable to your vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure correct polarity (positive, negative, accessory).
- Speaker Outputs: Connect the speaker wires to your vehicle's speakers. Observe correct positive and negative connections for each speaker.
- Antenna: Connect the AM/FM antenna.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 User Interface and Touch Screen

Navigate through menus and applications by tapping, swiping, and dragging on the screen, similar to a smartphone.
3.2 Wireless Apple CarPlay
Apple CarPlay allows you to integrate your iPhone with the car stereo, providing access to phone functions, music, maps, messages, and more directly on the unit's display. It supports both wireless and wired connections.

- Ensure your iPhone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
- On the car stereo, select the CarPlay application.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your iPhone via Bluetooth. Once paired, CarPlay will launch automatically.
- Alternatively, connect your iPhone via a USB cable for a wired CarPlay connection.
- Use Siri voice controls by activating Siri on your iPhone or through the stereo's interface.
3.3 Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto integrates your Android phone with the car stereo, offering navigation, communication, and entertainment features. It supports both wireless and wired connections.
- Ensure your Android phone has Android Auto installed and its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
- On the car stereo, select the Android Auto application.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your Android phone via Bluetooth. Android Auto will then launch.
- For a wired connection, connect your Android phone via a USB cable.
- Use "Ok Google" to activate the Google Assistant for voice commands.
3.4 Bluetooth 5.0

- Pairing: Go to the Bluetooth settings on the stereo and on your phone. Search for available devices on your phone and select "Dasaita HM2221-C-PLAY-HD" (or similar name). Confirm the pairing code if prompted.
- Hands-Free Calling: Once paired, you can make and receive calls directly through the stereo. Use the external microphone for clear communication.
- Audio Streaming: Play music from your phone via Bluetooth. Control playback (play/pause, skip) from the stereo's interface.
3.5 AM/FM Radio
Access the built-in AM/FM tuner to listen to radio broadcasts.

When a compatible camera is connected and the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the stereo will automatically display the camera feed.
3.9 Sound Settings (Equalizer)
Customize your audio experience using the built-in equalizer. The unit features a 16-band EQ.
- Access the "EQ" or "Sound Settings" menu.
- Adjust the frequency bands to tailor the sound output to your preference.
- Pre-set sound profiles (e.g., Jazz, Pop, Rock) may also be available.
3.10 System Settings and Default Password
Access the system settings for various configurations. The default factory setting password is 1234 or 2254. This password may be required for accessing certain advanced settings or for factory resets.
