4. Setup Guide
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Initial Setup and Atomic Synchronization
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize with the WWVB radio signal. This process may take several minutes to a few hours, depending on your location and signal strength. Place the clock near a window or in an open area for best reception.

4.3 Time Zone Selection
The clock supports four time zones. To select your time zone:
- Press the "TIME ZONE" button on the back of the clock repeatedly until your desired time zone (EST, PST, MST, CST) is displayed on the screen.

4.4 Mounting Options
The clock can be either wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop using its integrated stand.
- Tabletop: Extend the built-in stand on the back of the clock to place it on any flat surface.
- Wall Mount: Use the mounting holes on the back of the clock to hang it securely on a wall.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Information
The large LCD screen displays the following information:
- Current Time (with AM/PM indicator or 24-hour format)
- Indoor Temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius)
- Day of the Week
- Date (Month-Day)
- Atomic Signal Indicator
- DST Indicator (if enabled)
- Low Battery Indicator
- Alarm Icon (if alarm is set)

5.2 Setting Time and Date Manually (If Atomic Sync Fails)
While the clock is designed for automatic synchronization, manual setting is possible if needed:
- Press and hold the "TIME SET" button on the back of the clock to enter time setting mode.
- Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the hour. Press "TIME SET" to confirm and move to minutes.
- Repeat for minutes, year, month, day, and day of the week.
- Press "TIME SET" again to exit setting mode.
5.3 Daylight Saving Time (DST) On/Off
To enable or disable the automatic DST adjustment:
- Press the "DST ON/OFF" button on the back of the clock.
- When DST is "ON", the clock will automatically adjust forward or backward by one hour during Daylight Saving Time changes. The "AUTO DST" indicator will appear on the screen.
- When DST is "OFF", the "AUTO DST" indicator will disappear, and the clock will not automatically adjust.

5.4 Alarm Setting and Control
To set the alarm:
- Press and hold the "ALARM SET" button.
- Use the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to set the desired alarm hour and minute.
- Press "ALARM SET" to confirm each step.
To turn the alarm ON or OFF:
- Press the "DOWN AL ON/OFF" button.
- When the alarm is active, a bell icon will appear on the display. This icon will disappear when the alarm is off.
- To stop a sounding alarm, press any button.

5.5 12/24 Hour Time Mode
To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour (military) time display:
- Press the "UP ºC/ºF" button briefly. This button also controls temperature units.

5.6 Temperature Unit (Fahrenheit/Celsius)
To switch the indoor temperature display between Fahrenheit (ºF) and Celsius (ºC):
- Press the "UP ºC/ºF" button briefly.

6. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace all three AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous and accurate operation.
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
