1. Introduction

4. Product Overview

Controls and Ports:

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Klipsch Gig XL speaker. Connect the supplied power cable to the charging port on the speaker and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 8 hours of playtime.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power Button until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To power off the speaker, press and hold the Power Button again until the indicator lights turn off.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and within range of your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
- Press the Bluetooth Pairing Button on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "Klipsch Gig XL" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear an audible confirmation.
- You can now stream audio wirelessly to your Klipsch Gig XL speaker.
6.2 Audio Playback
- After successful Bluetooth pairing, start playing audio from your connected device.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume Knob on the speaker or the volume controls on your connected device.
- For wired connections, connect an audio source to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable.

6.3 Light Modes
The Klipsch Gig XL features dynamic multi-color light rings that can be customized. Press the Light Mode Button to cycle through various lighting effects and settings. The lights can dance to the beat of the music or display static colors.

6.4 Bass Boost
To enhance the low-frequency output, press the Bass Boost Button. This will activate a deeper bass response. Press the button again to deactivate the feature.
6.5 Karaoke Function
Connect the included karaoke microphone to the MIC IN port on the speaker. Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated control (if available, otherwise use main volume). The speaker allows for vocal performances alongside your music.

6.6 Dual Speaker Pairing (True Wireless Stereo)
For a true two-channel stereo sound experience, you can wirelessly pair two Klipsch Gig XL speakers. Refer to the specific instructions for dual speaker pairing, typically involving pressing a dedicated button on both speakers to link them before connecting to your audio source via Bluetooth.

6.7 Splash Resistance
The Klipsch Gig XL is IPX4 splash-resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes of water from any direction. This makes it suitable for outdoor use or near water sources like pools. However, it is not designed to be submerged in water.
