Senzooe XY-PWM

Senzooe XY-PWM PWM Signal Generator Instruction Manual

Model: XY-PWM

1. Introduction

The Senzooe XY-PWM module is a versatile pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator designed for various electronic applications. It allows users to precisely adjust both the frequency and duty cycle of the output square wave or rectangular wave signal. This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your XY-PWM module.

2. Product Overview

The XY-PWM module features a compact design with an integrated display and control buttons for easy adjustment. The front panel includes a digital display for frequency and duty cycle values, along with dedicated buttons for adjusting these parameters.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to properly set up your XY-PWM module:

  1. Power Connection: Connect your DC power supply (3.3V to 30V) to the input terminals.
    • Connect the positive (+) terminal of your power supply to the V+ terminal on the module.
    • Connect the negative (-) terminal of your power supply to the V- terminal on the module.

Refer to Figure 2.2 for the wiring diagram. Ensure correct polarity to prevent damage to the module.

  2. PWM Output Connection: Connect your load or control circuit to the PWM output terminals.
    • Connect the PWM signal output to the PWM terminal.
    • Connect the ground for the PWM signal to the GND terminal.
  3. Power On: Once all connections are secure, apply power to the module. The digital display should illuminate.

6. Operating Instructions

The XY-PWM module is operated using the four push-buttons on the front panel.

6.1 Adjusting Frequency (FREQ)

  1. Locate the two buttons labeled "FREQ" on the left side of the module.
  2. Press the up arrow button next to "FREQ" to increase the output frequency.
  3. Press the down arrow button next to "FREQ" to decrease the output frequency.
  4. The current frequency value will be displayed on the screen.

6.2 Adjusting Duty Cycle (DUTY)

  1. Locate the two buttons labeled "DUTY" on the right side of the module.
  2. Press the up arrow button next to "DUTY" to increase the duty cycle percentage.
  3. Press the down arrow button next to "DUTY" to decrease the duty cycle percentage.
  4. The current duty cycle value (in percentage) will be displayed on the screen.

The module automatically saves the last set frequency and duty cycle values. These settings will be restored upon next power-up.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures, humidity, or corrosive environments.
  • Ensure proper ventilation if the module is enclosed in a case.
  • Do not attempt to open the module casing, as this may void any potential warranty and could expose you to electrical hazards.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Module does not power on.Incorrect power connection, insufficient voltage, faulty power supply.Check power supply voltage (3.3V-30V DC). Verify power cable connections and polarity (V+ to positive, V- to negative). Test power supply with another device.
No PWM output signal.Incorrect output wiring, module malfunction.Ensure PWM and GND terminals are correctly connected to your load. Check if the module is powered on and displaying values.
Frequency or duty cycle cannot be adjusted.Buttons not responding, internal fault.Ensure buttons are pressed firmly. If the issue persists, the module may require replacement.
