5. Installation
The XIIW extractor fan is suitable for wall, ceiling, or window mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is flat and stable. Refer to the wiring diagram for electrical connections.
5.1 Wiring Diagram
Proper wiring is crucial for safe and correct operation, especially for the timer function. Consult a qualified electrician for installation.

5.2 Mounting Instructions
- Choose a suitable location for mounting (wall, ceiling, or window).
- Mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs. Secure the mounting bracket.
- Connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram.
- Attach the fan unit to the mounting bracket.
- For vertical mounting (e.g., ceiling), it is imperative to remove the backdraft damper to ensure proper function.

6. Operation
The fan operates when power is supplied. The integrated timer allows for delayed shutdown.
6.1 Timer Adjustment
The timer can be adjusted from 1 to 30 minutes. To adjust the timer, you need to access the internal circuit board by carefully opening the fan cover. Use a small screwdriver to gently pry open the cover as shown in Image 5.

Once the cover is open, locate the adjustment button on the circuit board. The LED indicator will confirm your selection.

- Press once: 5 minutes
- Press twice: 10 minutes
- Press three times: 20 minutes
- Press four times: 30 minutes

After setting the desired timer duration, carefully close the fan cover.
