5. Maintenance
The AVHzY AT2PW meter is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
- Environment: Ensure the device is installed in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
- Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Loose connections can lead to inaccurate readings or safety hazards.
- Software Updates: Keep the Smart Life app updated to the latest version to benefit from new features and performance improvements. The device firmware may also receive updates via the app.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AT2PW meter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Device Not Powering On:
- Check the input power supply (AC 85-265V) to ensure it is within the specified range.
- Verify all wiring connections (N-IN, L-IN) are correct and secure.
- No Display or Blank Screen:
- Ensure the device is receiving power.
- If the display is black but the power LED is on, the display might be faulty. Contact support.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi / Poor Signal:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
- Move the device closer to your Wi-Fi router or consider a Wi-Fi extender if signal strength is consistently low, especially if installed in a metal enclosure.
- Some users report that the Wi-Fi cannot be deactivated on the device itself. This is a design characteristic.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Check wiring connections for looseness or incorrect polarity.
- Ensure the load connected is within the device's rated current (100A max).
- Relay Not Switching:
- Verify the device is powered on and connected to the app.
- Check if any protection features (overvoltage, overcurrent) are active and preventing the relay from closing.
- Ensure the manual ON/OFF function via the "+" button works.
- Data Loss After Power Outage:
- Note that the energy meter may not have a buffer battery for power outages, meaning accumulated data might be reset if power is completely lost. This is a known characteristic.
