1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your Techwood Ice Maker Machine. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

3.2 Placement

• Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of space around the unit for proper ventilation, especially around the air vents.

• Do not place the unit in an enclosed cabinet.

3.3 Initial Cleaning

1. Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker.
2. Remove the ice basket.
3. Wash the ice basket and ice scoop (if included) with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Wipe the interior of the water reservoir and ice collection area with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a small amount of vinegar or mild detergent. Rinse by wiping with a clean, damp cloth.
5. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Filling the Water Reservoir

1. Open the transparent lid.
2. Remove the ice basket.
3. Fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. The reservoir capacity is 1.3 liters.
4. Replace the ice basket and close the lid.

4.2 Starting Ice Production

1. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Press the 'Start/Stop' button on the control panel. The 'Ice Making' indicator light will illuminate.
3. The ice maker will begin its cycle. The first batch of 9 ice cubes will be produced in approximately 7 to 14 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature and water temperature.
4. The ice maker will continue to produce ice until the ice basket is full or the water reservoir is empty.

4.3 Indicator Lights

• 'Add Water' Indicator: This light will illuminate when the water reservoir is low or empty. Refill the reservoir to resume ice production.
• 'Ice Full' Indicator: This light will illuminate when the ice basket is full. The machine will automatically stop ice production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.

4.4 Stopping Operation

To stop the ice maker at any time, press the 'Start/Stop' button. Unplug the unit from the power outlet when not in use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Regular Cleaning

1. Always unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
2. Remove the ice basket and clean it with warm, soapy water.
3. Clean the interior of the unit, including the water reservoir and ice collection area, with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
4. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing or reusing.

5.2 Draining Water

To drain residual water from the reservoir, locate the drain plug (usually at the bottom or side of the unit). Place a container under the plug, remove it, and allow all water to drain. Replace the plug securely.

5.3 Storage

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, clean and dry it thoroughly. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
