Introduction

Thank you for choosing the M SANMERSEN 37-Key Kids Piano Keyboard. This portable electronic keyboard is designed to introduce young beginners to the world of music, offering a variety of tones, rhythms, and interactive features. This manual provides essential information for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure a fun and educational experience for children aged 3-7 years.

Setup

Power Supply

The keyboard can be powered by either 3 AA batteries (not included) or the provided USB cable. For battery installation, open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard and insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Alternatively, connect the USB cable to the keyboard's DC 5V port and a compatible USB power source.

Microphone Connection

Locate the microphone jack on the side of the keyboard. Insert the microphone plug firmly into the jack. The microphone allows children to sing along while playing. Note: The microphone is designed to be quiet for safety reasons.

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions

• Power On/Off: Press the "Power" button to turn the keyboard on or off.
• Volume Control: Use the "Volume +" and "Volume -" buttons to adjust the sound level.
• Tempo Control: Use the "Tempo +" and "Tempo -" buttons to adjust the speed of rhythms and demo songs.

Musical Features

The keyboard offers a variety of musical options to explore:

• 8 Tones: Select from different instrument sounds including Organ, String, Guitar, Flute, Music Box, Piano, Violin, and Xylophone using the T1-T8 buttons.
• 8 Rhythms: Choose from various rhythm styles such as Blue, Ballad, March, Euro, Fusion, Polka, Disco, and Tango using the R1-R8 buttons.
• 19 Demo Songs: Press the "DEMO A", "DEMO B", or "DEMO C" buttons to play pre-recorded demo songs.
• 4 Drum Sounds: Access different drum sounds by pressing the dedicated drum buttons.
• 4 Animal Sounds: Play animal sounds (Dog, Frog, Duck, Bird) using the corresponding buttons.

Recording and Playback

The keyboard allows you to record and play back your musical creations:

• Record: Press the "REC" button to start recording your playing.
• Play: Press the "PLAY" button to listen to your recorded melody.
• Stop: Press the "STOP" button to stop recording or playback.

Chord Function

The keyboard supports chord playing. When three or more fingers are pressed simultaneously on the keys, the electronic piano will produce different sounds to enrich the harmony, making the music sound more complete and beautiful. This feature helps children understand basic musical harmony and improves hand-eye coordination.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the keyboard with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
• Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove batteries to prevent leakage.
• Battery Care: Always use new batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
