4. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the included 24W (12V/2A) power adapter into the DC 12V port on the RSHTECH hub. Then, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. This ensures stable power for all connected devices.

  2. Connect to Host Device: Use the 2-in-1 USB data cable to connect the hub to your computer or laptop.
    • If your host device has a USB-C port, use the USB-C end of the 2-in-1 cable.
    • If your host device has a USB-A port, use the USB-A end of the 2-in-1 cable.

  3. Connect USB Devices: Plug your USB peripherals (e.g., flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, printers) into the available USB-A or USB-C ports on the hub.

  4. Power On Ports: Each port has an individual On/Off switch. Press lightly on the switch next to the desired port to activate it. The blue LED indicator will illuminate when the port is active.

5. Operating Instructions

  • Individual Port Control: To activate a specific USB port, press its corresponding On/Off switch lightly. The blue LED will light up, indicating the port is ready for use.
  • Deactivating a Port: To turn off a specific USB port, press and hold its On/Off switch for approximately two seconds. The blue LED will turn off, and the port will be deactivated. This feature allows you to disconnect devices without physically removing them.
  • Data Transfer: Connect your USB storage devices (e.g., flash drives, external SSDs/HDDs) to the appropriate 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Type-A/C) or 5Gbps (USB 3.0 Type-A) ports for high-speed data transfer.
  • Charging: The hub's powered design allows for stable charging of compatible devices connected to its ports, supporting BC1.2 charging protocol.
