4. Operation and Features
Using as a Bunk Bed
The SOFTSEA Twin Over Full Bunk Bed provides two sleeping surfaces, a twin-size upper bed and a full-size lower bed. The integrated ladder allows safe access to the top bunk. Ensure mattresses meet the recommended thickness for safety and proper fit.
Separating into Two Individual Beds
This bunk bed is designed to be separated into two independent beds: one twin-size bed and one full-size bed. To convert, carefully disassemble the connecting hardware between the upper and lower frames. Ensure all components are safely stored or reassembled as individual bed frames. Refer to the assembly guide for specific steps on separation.

5. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or polishes that may damage the wood finish.
- Hardware: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- Environment: Avoid exposing the bed to extreme temperature changes or direct sunlight, which can cause wood to warp or fade.
- Moving: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and floor.
6. Troubleshooting
Bed Feels Unstable or Wobbly:
- Ensure all assembly hardware (bolts, screws) are fully tightened.
- Verify that all components are correctly aligned according to the assembly instructions.
- Check if the bed is placed on an even surface.
Drawers Do Not Slide Smoothly:
- Check for any obstructions in the drawer glides or tracks.
- Ensure the drawers are assembled correctly and are not overloaded.
