  • Place the dehumidifier on a level, stable surface in the area where dehumidification is needed.
  • Ensure there is at least 12 inches (30 cm) of clear space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas where it may be exposed to splashing water.

3.2 Electrical Connection

  • The Moiswell Explorer V320 requires a NEMA 5-20 receptacle (20 Amp, 125 Volt).
  • Verify that the electrical outlet available meets this specification.
  • Plug the dehumidifier directly into the dedicated grounded outlet. Do not use multi-outlet adapters or extension cords.

3.3 Drainage Setup

The unit is designed for continuous drainage using the included drain hose. This eliminates the need to manually empty a water tank.

  • Locate the drain outlet on the side of the dehumidifier (refer to Figure 2.2).
  • Connect one end of the provided 6.65 ft drain hose securely to the drain outlet.
  • Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain point, such as a floor drain, sink, or bucket.
  • Ensure the hose is sloped downwards continuously from the dehumidifier to the drain point to allow for gravity drainage. Avoid kinks or obstructions in the hose.
  • The unit supports a drain height of up to 16.4 ft if using an external condensate pump (not included). For gravity drainage, the drain point must be lower than the unit's drain outlet.
