Setup

1. Power Supply

The Ciays Automatic Cat Feeder supports dual power supply modes: AC adapter and battery backup. Connect the provided power adapter and cord to the feeder and a wall outlet for primary power. For backup power, insert 3 D-type batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. The battery mode will automatically activate in case of a power outage, preserving your settings for up to 45 days depending on battery quality.

2. Food Container and Bowl Assembly

Troubleshooting

• Feeder not dispensing food or dispensing too little:

  Check the food pellet size; it should be between 2mm and 10mm. Larger pellets may cause jams. Ensure the food container is not empty. Verify that the portion settings are correctly programmed for each meal.
