5. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Sensor Not Connecting:
- Ensure the sensor is active (move the bike or sensor to wake it up).
- Check the battery level and replace if necessary.
- Make sure Bluetooth/ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device.
- Try re-pairing the sensor with your device.
- Incorrect Readings:
- Verify the sensor is installed correctly for the desired mode (speed on hub, cadence on crank).
- Confirm the correct mode is selected in the XOSS APP or your bike computer.
- Ensure there are no obstructions or interference near the sensor.
- XOSS APP Not Recording Indoor Cycling:
- The XOSS APP currently does not support recording indoor cycling activities. This is a known limitation.
- Battery Draining Quickly:
- Ensure the sensor is allowed to enter sleep mode when not in use (3 minutes unmoved).
- If using with other apps, ensure they are not constantly polling the sensor when not needed.
- Consider disconnecting the sensor from the app/device after each use to conserve battery.
