4. Charging the Trimmer
The VGR V-999 trimmer is equipped with a rechargeable 600 mAh Li-ion battery.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the trimmer's USB port.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.
- The indicator light on the trimmer will illuminate to show that it is charging.
- A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 120 minutes of cordless operation.
- The trimmer can also be used while corded if the battery is low.
5. Attaching and Detaching Guide Combs

To Attach a Guide Comb:
- Select the desired guide comb (1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, or 6mm).
- Align the comb with the trimmer blade and slide it on until it clicks into place.
To Detach a Guide Comb:
- Gently push the comb upwards from the back of the blade until it detaches.
- You can also use the trimmer without a comb for a close trim (0mm).
6. Operating Instructions
The VGR V-999 trimmer is suitable for both dry and wet use. Its self-sharpening stainless-steel blades are designed with an R-shape for skin protection.

Basic Trimming Steps:
- Ensure the trimmer is charged or connected to power.
- Attach the desired guide comb for your preferred trimming length.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the trimmer.
- Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even cut.
- For a closer trim, remove the guide comb and carefully trim.
