4. Mount Mechanism: Gently push the wired mechanism into the wall box. Use the metallic claws and mounting screws to secure the mechanism firmly to the wall box. The metallic claws provide better adhesion.

5. Attach Frame and Cover: Position the polypropylene frame over the mounted mechanism. The flexible nature of the frame aids in easier installation. Snap the cover plate onto the frame until it is securely in place.
6. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are securely fastened, restore power to the circuit from the main circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The SIMON 10 Series switch/commutator is operated by pressing the rocker switch.

• As a Standard Switch: When wired as a single-pole switch, pressing the top or bottom of the rocker will toggle the connected light or device ON or OFF.
• As a Commutator (Two-Way Switch): When wired in a two-way configuration, pressing the rocker will alternate the circuit connection, allowing you to control a single light fixture from two separate locations. For example, one switch at the bottom of a staircase and another at the top.
