  • Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the bottom pusher to reset all chronograph hands to zero.

4.2 Indiglo Night-Light

To activate the Indiglo night-light, press and hold the crown. The entire dial will illuminate for easy reading in low-light conditions.

4.3 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This rating means it is suitable for splashes, rain, and short periods of recreational swimming. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, diving, or snorkeling. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Your Watch

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the finish. For water-resistant watches, ensure the crown is fully closed before cleaning with a damp cloth.

5.2 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a lithium metal battery (CR2016 cell). When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to an authorized Timex service center or a professional jeweler. Improper battery replacement can compromise the watch's water resistance and internal components.
