Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to securely install your anti-theft license plate screws:

1. Prepare the Mounting Area: Ensure the license plate mounting holes on your vehicle are clean and free from debris.
2. Insert Nylon Inserts (if needed): If your vehicle's mounting holes are not threaded or are oversized, gently push the provided nylon screw inserts into the holes. These provide a secure anchor for the screws.
3. Attach Foam Pads: Peel the backing from the foam anti-rattle pads and apply them to the back of your license plate, aligning them with the screw holes. This prevents vibration and scratching.

4. Position License Plate: Align your license plate and any frame (not included) with the mounting holes on your vehicle.
5. Assemble Screw and Washer: Place a black screw washer onto each anti-theft screw.
6. Secure the Screws: Insert the assembled screw and washer through the license plate (and frame) into the vehicle's mounting hole. Use the provided special hex L-wrench or the hex drill bit with a power tool to tighten the screws. Ensure they are snug but do not overtighten.

7. Attach Screw Covers: Once the screws are tightened, snap the black screw covers over the screw heads. These covers provide an aesthetic finish and an additional layer of tamper deterrence.

• Screw Covers: The screw covers are designed to snap firmly into place over the screw heads. To remove them, carefully pry them off using a small, flat tool, taking care not to damage the cover or surrounding area.
