5. Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off

- To Start Pumping: After selecting your desired mode and level, press the Play button.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the On/Off button. The pump will also automatically shut off after 30 minutes of continuous use for safety.
Pumping Modes
The Zomee Fit offers multiple modes to mimic a baby's natural feeding pattern and optimize milk expression. Use the Mode Switch button to cycle through them:
- Stimulation Mode: Features weaker, quicker, and consistent suction to initiate milk flow.
- Expression Mode: Provides slower, deeper, and consistent sucks for efficient milk extraction.
- Two-Phase Mode: A combination mode that alternates between weaker/quicker sucks (stimulation) and deeper/stronger pulls (expression) to maximize let-down and milk output.
- Nipple Correction Mode: A unique mode designed for mothers with inverted or flat nipples. It draws the nipple out for 10 seconds, holds it, and then releases, gradually increasing suction over three levels to help evert the nipple.
Adjusting Suction Levels
Each mode has 9 adjustable suction levels. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease the intensity. The pump can reach up to 100 cycles per minute. Always increase the suction level slowly to one you are most comfortable with to avoid nipple trauma.
Recommended Pumping Settings
For optimal results, follow these recommended settings:
- Start on Stimulation Mode: Begin your session in Stimulation Mode for the first 2 minutes to encourage let-down.
- Switch to Expression Mode: After 2 minutes, switch to Expression Mode and continue for 8-10 minutes, or until milk flow slows. Slowly increase the suction level to your comfort.
- Switch to Two-Phase Mode: If you need a second let-down, switch to Two-Phase Mode for the next 8-10 minutes.
- End Session: End the pumping session once milk flow stops or you feel empty.
For Nipple Correction: If using Nipple Correction Mode, start with this mode for 3-5 minutes to evert the nipple, then proceed with Stimulation, Expression, and Two-Phase modes as recommended above.
6. Special Features
Advanced Fullness Sensor
The Zomee Fit includes an Advanced Fullness Sensor that detects when the collection container is full, preventing overfilling and spillage. It offers three levels of automatic shutoff: 4oz, 5oz, and 6oz.
- To Customize Sensor Level: Press the On/Off button and the "+" button simultaneously. The display will show L1 (4oz), L2 (5oz), or L3 (6oz). Cycle through by pressing "+" until your desired level is selected.
- To Turn Sensor On/Off: Press and hold the Mode button. The display will show "ON" or "OFF".
- Recommendation: Limit activity while using the sensor feature. White bras or undergarments can sometimes affect the sensor's accuracy due to reflection.
New Timer Functionality
The integrated timer helps you monitor the duration of each pumping session, ensuring you pump for the optimal amount of time to maximize milk expression.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance are essential for hygiene and longevity of your pump. All parts are BPA + Phthalate-free.
- Disassembly: Disassemble all parts after each use.
- Cleaning: Wash all parts that come into contact with milk with warm, soapy water using the provided collection container brush. Rinse thoroughly.
- Drying: Air dry all parts completely before reassembly or storage.
- Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
- Dishwasher Safety: The pump parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
