4. Setup Guide
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
Place the unit on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation (at least 4 inches of space) around the unit.
Avoid placing the ice maker near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Before first use, it is recommended to let the unit stand upright for at least 2 hours if it was not transported in an upright position. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
4.2 Initial Cleaning
Before making ice for consumption, clean the interior of the ice maker:
Remove the ice basket and ice scoop.
Clean the interior liner, ice basket, and ice scoop with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
Rinse the interior thoroughly with clean water.
Drain any remaining water from the unit. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for draining instructions.
Wipe all surfaces dry.
5. Operating Instructions
Operating your EUHOMY Ice Maker is simple and straightforward.
5.1 Making Ice
Add Water: Open the top cover and pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the "MAX" water level mark. Do not overfill.
Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to start the ice-making cycle. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.
Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice cubes. The first batch of ice may take slightly longer (around 6-10 minutes) and may be smaller or irregularly shaped. Subsequent cycles will be faster and produce more consistent ice.
Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will flash, and the ice maker will automatically stop production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will flash, and the unit will stop. Add more water to the reservoir to resume ice production.
Harvesting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.
