Battery Installation
The FC900RBT keyboard requires two AAA batteries for wireless operation. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the keyboard.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the keyboard.
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions
Wired Connection
- Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB-A port on your computer.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your operating system and ready for use.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection
The FC900RBT supports Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity.
- Ensure batteries are installed in the keyboard.
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your computer or device.
- On the keyboard, press and hold the Fn key + F11 (Bluetooth pairing key) for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Leopold FC900RBT" from the list.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The LED indicator on the keyboard will stop flashing once successfully paired.
Dip Switch Functions
The keyboard features DIP switches on its underside, allowing for customization of certain key functions. Refer to the diagram below for switch locations and their corresponding functions.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Leopold FC900RBT keyboard.
- Cleaning Keycaps: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be carefully removed using a keycap puller (not included) and washed with mild soap and water, then thoroughly dried before reattaching.
- Cleaning the Case: Wipe the keyboard case with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials or solvents.
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between the keycaps and around the switches.
