3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
Use the provided Austin Bazaar Polishing Cloth to gently wipe the surface of the keyboard and accessories. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe dry immediately.
3.2 Storage
When not in use, store the keyboard in a dry, temperate environment away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If storing for an extended period, remove batteries to prevent leakage.
3.3 Battery Replacement
If using battery power, replace all 6 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears or when the keyboard fails to power on. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
4. Troubleshooting
- No Sound:
Check the volume level. Ensure headphones are not connected if you intend to use the built-in speakers. Verify the AC adapter is properly connected or that batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. - Keys Not Responding:
Ensure the keyboard is powered on. If specific keys are unresponsive, gently clean around them. If the issue persists, contact customer support. - Sustain Pedal Not Working:
Ensure the sustain pedal is fully plugged into the PEDAL jack. Some pedals may have a polarity switch; try flipping it if sustain is inverted. - Connectivity Issues (USB/Bluetooth):
For USB connections, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer/device. For Bluetooth, ensure the optional WU-BT10 adapter is correctly installed and paired with your device. Refer to the Casio Music Space app documentation for specific connection instructions.
