3. Product Overview

4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case.

Place both earbuds into the charging case.
Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
The LED indicator on the case will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off.

Note: A 5-minute charge can provide significant playback time.

4.2. Pairing with a Device

Follow these steps to pair your Nirvana Ion earbuds with a Bluetooth-enabled device:

Ensure the earbuds are charged and inside the charging case.
Open the lid of the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED on one of the earbuds.
On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth.
Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "boAt Nirvana Ion" from the list.
Once connected, a confirmation sound will play, and the LED indicator on the earbud will stop flashing.

Note: The earbuds support Google Fast Pair for quick connection with compatible Android devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Touch Controls

The boAt Nirvana Ion earbuds feature touch controls for various functions:

5.2. Dual EQ Modes

The earbuds offer two equalization modes: boAt Signature Sound and boAt Balanced Sound. These can be switched via the boAt Hearables app or specific touch gestures (refer to app for customization).

5.3. In-Ear Detection

The earbuds feature automatic in-ear detection. Music will pause when an earbud is removed from your ear and resume when placed back in.

5.4. BEAST Mode (Low Latency)

Activate BEAST Mode for a low-latency audio experience, ideal for gaming. This mode reduces audio delay to 60ms. Refer to the boAt Hearables app or product specifications for activation methods.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your earbuds.

Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Ear Tips: Regularly remove and clean the ear tips with a damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage.
Water Exposure: While IPX4 rated for sweat and splashes, avoid submerging the earbuds in water. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your boAt Nirvana Ion earbuds, refer to the following common solutions:

Problem	Solution
Earbuds not pairing	Ensure earbuds are charged. Place earbuds in case, close lid, then open to re-enter pairing mode. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device. Forget "boAt Nirvana Ion" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
No sound from one earbud	Ensure both earbuds are charged. Try placing both earbuds back in the case, closing the lid, and then taking them out again. Reset the earbuds (refer to the full manual or boAt support for specific reset instructions).
Low volume	Increase volume on both the earbuds (long press right earbud) and your connected device. Ensure ear tips are properly sealed in your ear.
Charging issues	Check if the charging cable is securely connected. Try a different USB port or power adapter. Ensure charging contacts on earbuds and case are clean.
