4. Setup & Installation
Professional installation is recommended for this ceiling fan to ensure proper and safe operation. Refer to the detailed installation manual included with your product for step-by-step instructions.
The fan comes with a 3-inch downrod for standard profile mounting. If your ceiling height is greater than 10 feet, an extension downrod may be suggested for optimal performance and safety. The fan blades should be no closer than 7 feet from the floor.

Downrod Installation Guidance
For guidance on installing an extension downrod, if needed, please refer to the video below. This video demonstrates how to disassemble the included downrod and reassemble it with an extension.

5. Operating Instructions
Fan Speed Control
The fan speed is controlled by one of the pull chains. Pull the chain to cycle through the three available speeds: Low, Medium, and High. The WhisperWind motor ensures quiet operation at all speeds.

Light Kit Control
The integrated LED light kit is controlled by the second pull chain. Pull the chain to turn the light on or off.
Reversible Motor Function (Summer/Winter Modes)
The WhisperWind motor features a reversible function to optimize air circulation for both summer and winter seasons. A switch on the fan body allows you to change the blade direction:
- Summer Mode: Set blades to spin counter-clockwise to create a downdraft, providing a cooling effect.
- Winter Mode: Set blades to spin clockwise on low speed to create an updraft, circulating warm air trapped near the ceiling.

Energy Saving Tip
To save energy, turn up your thermostat by 4°F and use your ceiling fan for consistent comfort. This can help reduce heating and cooling costs.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the fan blades and motor housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Checking Connections: Annually, check all screws and connections on the fan and mounting hardware to ensure they are secure.
- Light Bulbs: Replace LED bulbs as needed. Ensure power is disconnected before replacing bulbs.
7. Troubleshooting
If your fan is not operating correctly, consult the following common issues and solutions:
- Fan will not start:
- Check that the circuit breaker is on.
- Ensure all wiring connections are secure.
