5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
After each use, especially if used with non-fresh water (e.g., saltwater), rinse the pump, hose, and shower head thoroughly with clean fresh water. This helps prevent corrosion and mineral buildup. Periodically check and clean the filter on the pump intake to ensure optimal water flow.
5.2 Charging
Recharge the battery as needed. Avoid completely draining the battery to prolong its lifespan. Store the unit with a partial charge if not in use for extended periods.
5.3 Storage
Ensure all components are dry before storing. Disassemble the hose and shower head from the pump. Store all items neatly in the provided carry bag to protect them from dust and damage.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Water Flow: Check if the pump is fully submerged in water. Ensure the battery is charged. Verify all hose connections are secure. Check the pump intake filter for blockages.
- Low Water Pressure: Recharge the battery if the indicator lights show low power. Clean the pump intake filter. Ensure there are no kinks in the hose.
- Battery Not Charging: Verify the USB cable is correctly connected to both the pump and the power source. Try a different USB cable or power source.
- Leaks: Tighten all hose and shower head connections. Check O-rings for proper seating or damage.
