4. Setup

Before first use, ensure your Nextmug is fully charged.

1. Charge the Mug: Place the Nextmug onto the charging coaster. Connect the charging coaster to a power outlet using the provided 1.8m power cord. The LED indicators on the mug will show charging status. Ensure the mug is fully charged before initial use to optimize battery life.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your Nextmug:

1. Fill the Mug: Pour your desired hot beverage into the Nextmug.
2. Select Temperature: Press the control button located on the base of the mug to cycle through the temperature settings. The LED indicators will illuminate to show the selected temperature:
   • Warm: 55°C (130°F)
   • Hot: 60°C (140°F)
   • Piping: 65°C (150°F)
3. Enjoy: The mug will begin to maintain your beverage at the selected temperature. For best results and prolonged heat retention, use the spill-resistant lid.
4. Power Off: To turn off the heating function, press the control button until all temperature indicator lights are off.

6. Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your Nextmug.

• Cleaning: The Nextmug should be hand washed only. Do not immerse the mug or the charging coaster in water. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent to clean the interior and exterior surfaces.
• Storage: Store the mug and coaster in a dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Nextmug, consider the following:

• Mug not heating: Ensure the mug is properly charged and placed securely on the charging coaster. Check if the power cord is firmly connected to the coaster and the wall outlet. Verify that a temperature setting (Warm, Hot, or Piping) is selected.
• LED indicators not working: This may indicate a low battery. Place the mug on the charging coaster to recharge. If the issue persists after charging, contact customer support.
• Beverage not staying warm: Ensure the spill-resistant lid is properly secured on the mug. Extreme ambient temperatures can affect heat retention.
