Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. A detailed assembly video is also available below for visual guidance.
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Drill
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Measuring Tape
- Pencil
- Level (a small one may be included in hardware kit)
Installation Steps:
- Marking the Wall: Determine the desired location for your shelf. Use a level and pencil to mark the positions for the mounting holes of the metal bracket. Ensure the marks are level and spaced correctly for your wall studs (16-inch screw spacing is recommended for better support).
- Drilling Pilot Holes: Based on your wall type (drywall, concrete, or brick), drill appropriate pilot holes. For drywall, use a stud finder to locate studs for maximum support. If studs are not available, use the provided drywall anchors. For concrete or brick walls, use a hammer drill and appropriate masonry drill bits and anchors.
- Mounting the Bracket: Align the metal bracket with the drilled holes. Secure the bracket to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and level.
- Sliding the Shelf Board: Carefully slide the MDF shelf board onto the metal bracket's rods. The board is designed to fit snugly over the bracket, creating a floating appearance.
- Securing the Shelf: Once the board is fully seated, use the small screws provided to secure the shelf board to the bracket from the underside. This prevents the shelf from lifting off the bracket.

Operating Instructions
Once installed, your QEEIG floating shelves are ready for use. Distribute weight evenly across the shelf surface. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 25 pounds per shelf to prevent damage or detachment. These shelves are suitable for displaying decorative items, plants, toiletries, and other small items in various rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your QEEIG floating shelves:
- Wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust and light dirt.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the laminated finish.
- Periodically check the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
Troubleshooting
Shelf is not level:
- Ensure the initial wall markings were level. Re-measure and adjust if necessary.
- Verify that the mounting bracket is installed perfectly level before attaching the shelf board.
Shelf feels unstable or wobbly:
- Confirm that the mounting screws are fully tightened into wall studs or appropriate heavy-duty anchors. The provided anchors are suitable for most drywall applications, but for heavier loads or specific wall types, stronger anchors may be required.
- Ensure the shelf board is fully pushed onto the bracket rods and secured with the small screws from the underside.
- Do not exceed the 25-pound weight capacity. Distribute items evenly.
Difficulty sliding the board onto the bracket:
- Check for any obstructions or debris inside the shelf board's pre-drilled holes or on the bracket rods.
- Ensure the bracket is mounted straight and not at an angle that would impede the board's entry.
