1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before operating this appliance to ensure safe and efficient use. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
• Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
• This appliance is intended for household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments; catering and similar non-retail applications.

2. Product Overview

The Summit ASDG2411 is a 24-inch wide beverage center designed for both built-in and freestanding applications. It features a shallow depth and ADA compliant height, making it versatile for various installations. With a 3.25 cu.ft. capacity, it offers ample space for beverages, complemented by a stainless steel interior and a double-pane tempered glass door.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

• Remove all packaging materials, including the foam base and adhesive tape.
• Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the retailer.
• Ensure all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.

3.2 Placement

• This beverage center can be installed as a built-in unit or used freestanding.
• For built-in installation, ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. The front-breathing design allows for flush installation under counters.
• Position the appliance on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
• Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

3.3 Leveling

• The unit comes with adjustable leveling legs. Adjust them to ensure the appliance is level.
• The ADA compliant height is 32 inches, but the adjustable legs and sliding kickplate allow for an overall height up to 34 inches to fit standard counter spaces.

3.4 Electrical Connection

• Connect the appliance to a dedicated, properly grounded 115V AC/60Hz electrical outlet.
• Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.

4. Operating Instructions

The control panel is located at the bottom of the interior, accessible through the glass door.

4.1 Power On/Off

• Press and hold the Power button (symbol resembling a circle with a vertical line) on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

4.2 Temperature Control

• Use the Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
• The temperature range is 36°F to 43°F (2°C to 6°C).
• The digital display shows the current internal temperature.
• The unit features a Temperature Memory Function, which restores the last set temperature after a power interruption.

4.3 Lighting Control

• Press and hold the Light button (symbol resembling a light bulb) to turn the interior LED lighting on or off.
• The LED lighting is dimmable, allowing adjustment of brightness.

4.4 Shelving Adjustment

• The beverage center features cantilevered glass shelves that can be adjusted to different heights.
• To adjust, carefully lift the front of the shelf and slide it out. Reinsert into desired rail slots.
• Ensure shelves are securely seated before placing items on them.

4.5 Door Alarm

• An audible alarm will sound if the door is left open for an extended period, helping to conserve energy and maintain internal temperature.
• Close the door to silence the alarm.

4.6 Sabbath Mode

• This appliance includes a Sabbath Mode feature. Refer to the full product manual for specific instructions on activating and deactivating this mode.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

• Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Wipe down the stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth.
• The glass shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

• Clean the exterior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
• For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner and polish in the direction of the grain.
• Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a tight seal.

5.3 Defrosting

• This unit features frost-free operation, eliminating the need for manual defrosting.
