4. Setup and Assembly
Your ADO A20 XE E-Folding Bike comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Unfolding the Frame:
- Place the bike on a flat surface.
- Release the frame latch (usually located near the hinge in the middle of the frame).
- Carefully unfold the frame until it locks into place. Ensure the latch is securely fastened.
- Handlebar Setup:
- Lift the handlebar stem and secure it with the quick-release lever.
- Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable position and tighten the clamp.

The ADO A20 XE offers two main operating modes: Pedal Assisted Bike and Normal Bike.
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the e-bike system, press and hold the power button on the LCD display.
- To turn off, press and hold the power button again.
5.2 Pedal Assisted Mode
- The e-bike has 3 levels of pedal assistance.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the LCD display to cycle through the assist levels (1-3).
