1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety information before assembling or using this product.

• This product has a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs. Do not exceed this limit.
• It is recommended to secure the bench in windy conditions to prevent tipping.
• The rattan material is weather resistant, but items stored inside may get wet in heavy rain. Consider using waterproof bags for sensitive items.
• Always clean the bench and cushions as instructed to maintain their integrity and appearance.
• Keep small children away during assembly to avoid choking hazards from small parts.

2. Product Components

Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly. Refer to the included parts list in your packaging.

The bench features a 40-gallon storage capacity, a 2.3-inch thick cushion for seating, and integrated side handles for easy movement.

3. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required. Follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify all parts against the parts list.
2. Assemble the base frame. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until instructed.
3. Attach the side panels. Important Note: The V-shaped struts on the side panels should point downwards, not upwards as may be depicted in some diagrams. This ensures proper alignment for subsequent steps.
4. Connect the front and back panels to the assembled sides and base.
5. Install the lid and its pneumatic rods. The pneumatic rods are designed to prevent the lid from closing suddenly.
6. Once all components are loosely assembled, gradually tighten all screws evenly. Avoid overtightening.
7. Place the cushion on top of the bench.

4. Operating Instructions

The VINGLI Outdoor Storage Bench is designed for dual functionality: comfortable seating and convenient storage.

4.1. Storage Function

• To access storage, lift the lid. The pneumatic rods will assist in holding the lid open.
• The 40-gallon capacity is suitable for storing various outdoor items such as grill supplies, tools, sports equipment, gardening items, pillows, toys, and blankets.
• Close the lid gently to engage the pneumatic rods.

4.2. Seating Function

• Ensure the lid is fully closed before using the bench for seating.
• The included 2.3-inch thick cushion provides comfortable seating.
• The bench has a weight capacity of 400 lbs, suitable for one adult or two children.

4.3. Placement and Portability

• The bench is suitable for various outdoor and indoor locations, including gardens, patios, balconies, poolside areas, and backyards.
• Use the integrated side handles to move the bench. Ensure the lid is closed and secured before moving.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your storage bench.

• Cleaning the Frame: Wipe the rattan and alloy steel frame with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. For tougher stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap and water, then wipe dry.
• Cushion Care: The cushion features a zipper for easy removal of the cover. Hand wash or machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry only; do not tumble dry.
• Weather Protection: While the rattan is weather resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, snow, intense sun) may affect its longevity. Consider using a protective cover during harsh weather or storing the bench indoors.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.

6. Troubleshooting

• Issue: Assembly difficulties, parts not aligning.
  Solution: Review the assembly instructions carefully, especially regarding the orientation of the side panel V-struts (they should point downwards). Do not fully tighten any screws until all parts are loosely assembled and aligned.
• Issue: Items inside the bench get wet after rain.
  Solution: The rattan material is weather resistant, but the bench is not fully waterproof. For sensitive items, use waterproof storage bags or consider placing the bench under a covered area during heavy precipitation.
• Issue: Lid does not stay open or closes too quickly.
  Solution: Check the installation of the pneumatic rods. Ensure they are correctly attached and functioning. If damaged, contact customer support for replacement parts.
