Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically takes 10-20 minutes. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage. Refer to the provided installation instructions and videos for visual guidance.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair base until they click securely into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled chair base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat mechanism. Secure it with the appropriate screws.
6. Attach Headrest: Slide the headrest into the designated slots at the top of the backrest.
7. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the mechanism plate aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.
8. Final Check: Verify all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use.

Operating Instructions and Adjustments

The KaiChair is designed with multiple adjustment features to provide optimal ergonomic support. Familiarize yourself with these adjustments to customize your seating experience.

• Seat Height Adjustment: Locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. Pull the lever upwards to raise the seat. To lower, remain seated and pull the lever upwards. Release the lever at the desired height.
• Recline/Tilt Adjustment (EFFY Synchron-tilt Technology): Use the lever on the left side, beneath the seat. Pull the lever out to unlock the tilt mechanism, allowing the backrest to recline. Push the lever in to lock the backrest at your desired angle. The chair offers 3 reclining positions.
• Tilt Tension Adjustment: The round knob located under the front of the seat controls the tilt tension. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
• 4D Armrest Adjustment: The armrests can be adjusted in four dimensions:
  • Height: Press the button on the side of the armrest and slide it up or down.
  • Forward/Backward: Slide the armrest pad forward or backward.
  • Left/Right (Pivot): Pivot the armrest pad left or right.
  • Inward/Outward: Slide the entire armrest assembly inward or outward.
• Adjustable Headrest: The headrest can be adjusted vertically by sliding it up or down to support your neck and head comfortably.
• Lumbar Support: The built-in lumbar support is designed to provide optimal lower back comfort. While not explicitly stated as adjustable, its ergonomic design ensures proper spinal alignment.
