Handset Features:
- Handset Speaker: For listening during calls.

5. Setup
5.1. Installing the Batteries
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
- Insert the supplied rechargeable NiMH batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2. Connecting the Base Station
- Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE port on the base station.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall socket.
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the base station.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
5.3. Initial Charging
Place the handset on the base station. The handset will begin charging. For optimal battery performance, allow the handset to charge for at least 12-15 hours before its first use, even if the display indicates a full charge earlier.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Making a Call
- Pick up the handset or press the Call button (green receiver icon).
- Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
- Press the Call button again if you picked up the handset first, or wait for the call to connect.
6.2. Answering a Call
When the phone rings, press the Call button (green receiver icon) to answer the call.
6.3. Ending a Call
Press the End Call button (red receiver icon) or place the handset back on the base station.
6.4. Adjusting Ringer and Call Volume
The ringer and call volume can be set to a very loud level. Use the Up and Down navigation buttons during a call or while in standby mode to adjust the volume.
6.5. Using Direct Memory Keys (M1, M2, M3)
- To store a number: Refer to the phone's menu for instructions on assigning numbers to M1, M2, and M3.
- To dial a stored number: Press the desired memory key (M1, M2, or M3) and then press the Call button.
6.6. Phonebook
The phonebook can store up to 50 contacts. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on adding, editing, and deleting contacts.
6.7. Flashing Indicator Light
The indicator light on the handset will flash when there is an incoming call, providing a visual alert in addition to the ringer. It will light up constantly when the BOOST function is active.
7. Maintenance
- Clean the phone with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the charging contacts on both the handset and base station are clean to ensure proper charging.
- If the phone will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the handset.
