4. Setup and Installation

  1. Insert Memory Card: Before mounting, insert a TF card (up to 64GB recommended) into the designated slot on the main unit. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.
  2. Mount the Main Unit: Secure the 11-inch car recorder over your existing rearview mirror using the provided mounting straps or brackets. Ensure it is firmly attached and does not obstruct your view.
  3. Install the Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or on the rear window. Ensure it has a clear view.
  4. Connect Rear Camera Cable: Route the rear camera cable from the rear camera to the main unit. Connect it to the AV input port on the main unit. For reversing functionality, connect the red wire of the rear camera cable to your car's reverse light power supply (12V).
  5. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the other end to the power input port on the main unit.
  6. Power On: Start your vehicle. The car recorder should automatically power on and begin recording.

5.2. Reversing Image Function

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the screen will automatically switch to display the rear camera view. This view includes auxiliary parking lines to assist with safe parking.
