4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC5V port on the speaker.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.
4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to specific LED behavior in your product).

4.2 Power On/Off

• To power on, press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator lights activate.
• To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (usually indicated by a flashing blue LED).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "D16" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.

4.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To achieve a true stereo sound experience, you can pair two D16 speakers together.

1. Ensure both D16 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button (refer to button layout in product overview if available).
3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, both speakers will emit a confirmation sound.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

4.5 Other Input Modes

• AUX Mode: Insert the 3.5mm AUX cable into the speaker's AUX port and the other end into your audio device. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
• USB Mode: Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically detect and play music from the drive.
• TF Card Mode: Insert a Micro TF card containing audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play music from the card.

5. Operating the Speaker

5.1 Button Functions (Refer to Figure 3.2 for button locations)

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to switch between input modes (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF).
• Play/Pause Button: Short press to play or pause music.
• Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for continuous volume increase.
• Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for continuous volume decrease.
• Previous Track: Short press to go to the previous song.
• Next Track: Short press to go to the next song.
• Light Mode Button: Short press to cycle through different disco lighting modes.
• TWS Button: Press to initiate TWS pairing (see Section 4.4).

5.2 Disco Lighting Modes

The D16 speaker features 8 colorful disco lighting modes that can be changed using the Light Mode button. These lights synchronize with the music rhythm to enhance your listening experience.

• Circling light
• Energy light
• Flashing light
• Breathing light
• Mono-color rhythm
• Multi-color rhythm
• And other dynamic modes.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure all ports are dry before charging or connecting other devices, especially after exposure to water.

6.2 Storage

• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to preserve battery life.

6.3 Battery Care

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Do not expose the speaker to temperatures above 60°C (140°F) as this can damage the battery.
