  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It takes approximately 3.8 hours for a full charge.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to specific LED behavior in the quick start guide if available).

A full charge provides up to 20 hours of playtime, depending on volume level and audio content.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

Follow these steps to connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Ensure the speaker is charged and powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power On/Off button until you hear an audible prompt or see the Bluetooth indicator light flashing, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Bobtot SoundAir" from the list of devices.
  5. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid.

The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Playback

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button.
  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button once.
  • Volume Adjustment: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.
  • Next/Previous Track: Press the Volume Up (+) button once for the next track, and the Volume Down (-) button once for the previous track.

5.2 Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can answer calls directly through the speaker when connected to your smartphone.

  • Answer Call: When a call comes in, press the Answer/Reject Phone Call button once.
  • End Call: During a call, press the Answer/Reject Phone Call button once.
  • Reject Call: When a call comes in, press and hold the Answer/Reject Phone Call button.

5.3 Waterproof Feature (IPX5)

The Bobtot SoundAir speaker is IPX5 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for use in environments where it might encounter splashes, rain, or light water exposure, such as by the pool or in the shower.

Important: Do not submerge the speaker in water. The IPX5 rating does not protect against full submersion.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your speaker, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Charging: Always use the provided USB Type-C cable for charging. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers.
  • Water Exposure: After exposure to water, ensure the charging port is dry before charging to prevent damage.

  • Move the speaker closer to your device to avoid interference.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and your device.
Short battery life.
  • Ensure the speaker is fully charged before use.
  • High volume levels consume battery faster.
  • Battery performance may degrade over time with repeated charging cycles.
