Introduction

Welcome to SmartGames Safari Park Jr.! This game is designed to develop spatial planning, directional language, and problem-solving skills for children aged 3 and up. Players navigate four safari animals to their correct positions on the game board according to challenge cards.

Setup

1. Place the game board on a flat surface.
2. For younger players (ages 2-3), the game can be used as a shape sorter: each animal has a uniquely shaped base that only fits into the matching corner of the board. This introduces shape recognition through play.
3. For challenge play, select a challenge card.
4. Place the animal figures on the game board as indicated by the starting positions on the chosen challenge card.

Operating Instructions (How to Play)

The objective is to move the safari animals to match the final arrangement shown on the challenge card. Each animal has specific movement rules:

• Giraffes: Too tall to move under the trees or the rainbow arch.
• Elephant: Too wide to squeeze through the rocky hill.
• Lion: Will not cross the water (pond).

Navigate the animals around their real-world limitations, one animal at a time, until all animals are in their correct positions as depicted on the challenge card. There is only one correct solution for each challenge.
