Setup
1. Battery Installation
The camera requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Ensure you use high-quality AA batteries for optimal performance and battery life (approximately 4 hours for photos, 2 hours for video).
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.
- Slide the battery compartment cover open.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. SD Card Installation
The camera supports an external SD card up to 32 GB (not included) for storing photos and videos.
- Locate the SD card slot, typically on the side or bottom of the camera.
- Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram near the slot).
- Gently push the card until it clicks into place. To remove, push again until it springs out.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the Power button located on the top of the camera to turn it on or off. The 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen will illuminate.
Taking Photos
The camera captures 16.0-megapixel photos. To take a picture:
- Ensure the camera is in photo mode (check the icon on the LCD screen).
- Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
- Press the Shutter button (usually a larger button on top) to capture the image.
Recording Videos
The camera supports video recording up to 1080p resolution. It also features a pause function during recording.
- Switch to video mode using the Mode button.
- Press the Shutter button to start recording.
- Press the Shutter button again to pause recording. Press it a third time to resume.
- To stop recording and save the file, press the Mode button again or the dedicated Stop button if available.
Using 16X Digital Zoom
The camera features a 16X digital zoom function, allowing you to magnify your subject.
- Use the W (Wide) button to zoom out.
- Use the T (Telephoto) button to zoom in.

Webcam Functionality
The Acuvar Digital Camera can be used as a webcam for video calls or live streaming.
- Ensure the camera is turned OFF.
- Connect the camera to your computer using the provided Mini USB cable.
- Simultaneously press the Power button and the Mode button on the camera.
- The camera will enter webcam mode, and your computer should recognize it as a video input device.

- Power Button: Turns the camera on/off.
- Shutter Button: Takes photos or starts/stops video recording.
- Mode Button: Switches between photo, video, and playback modes.
- Zoom In/Out (W/T) Buttons: Controls the 16X digital zoom.
- Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right): Used to navigate menus and settings.
- OK/Snap Button: Confirms selections in menus or acts as a secondary shutter.
- Menu Button: Accesses camera settings.
- Playback Button: Views captured photos and videos.
- Mini USB Port: For connecting to a computer (webcam, data transfer).
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for camera lenses to gently wipe away dust or smudges. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning the Body: Wipe the camera body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the camera.
- Storage: When not in use, store the camera in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Battery Care: Replace all 4 AA batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
Troubleshooting
