4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your ash vacuum for use:

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Ash Collection

  1. Verify Ash is Cold: Confirm that the ash to be vacuumed is completely cold. Wait at least 24-48 hours after a fire before attempting to clean.
  2. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a suitable 220V power outlet.
  3. Power On: Switch the vacuum on using the power button located on the motor head.
  4. Vacuum Ash: Use the aluminum nozzle to vacuum the cold ash. Move the nozzle slowly over the ash to ensure thorough collection.
  5. Power Off: Once cleaning is complete, switch off the vacuum and unplug it from the power outlet.

5.2 Blower Function

The ash vacuum also features a blower function to dislodge stubborn ash or clear small debris. To use the blower function, attach the flexible hose to the exhaust port on the motor head. Ensure the area is clear of loose debris before activating the blower.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your ash vacuum.

6.1 Emptying the Collection Tank

Empty the 20-liter collection tank regularly, especially when suction power decreases. To empty:

  1. Unplug the vacuum from the power outlet.
  2. Unclip and remove the motor head from the collection tank.
  3. Carefully lift the tank and dispose of the collected ash in a suitable, non-combustible container.
