3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the camera's battery compartment latch.
  2. Insert 8 new 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment securely to maintain the IP66 waterproof seal.

3.2 SD Card Installation

  1. Locate the SD card slot, usually next to the battery compartment.
  2. Insert a Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 256GB) with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. It is recommended to format the SD card using the camera's menu before first use.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted using the included strap or a tripod (not included).

  • Strap Mounting: Thread the mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera. Securely fasten the camera to a tree or pole at the desired height and angle.
  • Tripod Mounting: Use the 1/4-inch threaded insert at the bottom of the camera to attach it to a tripod or other mounting accessory.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. The camera will enter test mode or start recording based on your settings.
  • To power off, slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.2 Mode Selection

The camera typically offers three operating modes:

  • Photo Mode: Captures still images when triggered.
  • Video Mode: Records video clips when triggered.
  • Photo + Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip when triggered.

Select the desired mode via the camera's internal menu on the 2.4" LCD screen.

4.5 Night Vision

6. Troubleshooting
