2. What's in the Box
Upon unboxing your Raymate R5 speaker, please ensure all the following items are present:

Top Panel Controls:

- Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press for power indicator.
- Volume Down / Previous Track (-): Short press for volume down. Long press for previous track.
- Play/Pause / Answer or Reject Phone Call (▶): Short press to play/pause. Short press to answer/end call. Long press to reject call.
- Volume Up / Next Track (+): Short press for volume up. Long press for next track.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, Micro SD Card, and AUX modes.
- Status Indicator: LED light indicating power and connection status.

4. Setup
Charging the Speaker:
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's Type-C input and the other end to a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The charging time is approximately 3 hours.
Power On/Off:
Press and hold the Power button (⏻) located on the top panel for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the status indicator lights up.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a blinking blue LED).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "X5 Pro" from the list of devices.
- Once successfully paired, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
The Bluetooth range is up to 10 meters (33 feet) in an open field.
5. Operating Instructions
Music Playback:
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button (▶).
- Volume Up/Down: Short press the '+' or '-' buttons.
- Next/Previous Track: Long press the '+' button for the next track, and long press the '-' button for the previous track.
Mode Switching:
Short press the Mode button (M) to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth, Micro SD Card, and AUX In.
Auxiliary Input (AUX In):
Connect your audio device to the speaker's 3.5mm AUX In port using the provided AUX cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
Micro SD Card Playback:
Insert a Micro SD card with your music files into the designated slot. The speaker will automatically detect the card and begin playback. Use the playback controls to manage your music.
Call Management:
- Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (▶) during an incoming call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button (▶) during an incoming call.
Battery Life:
The speaker provides approximately 15 hours of playtime at 50% volume on a full charge.
6. Maintenance & Care
- Waterproof Feature: The Raymate R5 is IPX7 waterproof. Ensure the rubber flap covering the charging and AUX ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water to maintain its waterproof integrity.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
