1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the IROK FE75Pro Wireless RGB Hot Swappable Mechanical Keyboard. Please read this guide thoroughly to ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your device. The FE75Pro is an 81-key mechanical keyboard featuring multiple connectivity options, customizable RGB backlighting, and hot-swappable switches.

3. Setup and Initial Use

3.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2 Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the side or back of the keyboard. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the keyboard. Slide it to 'OFF' when not in use to conserve battery.

4. Connectivity Modes

The IROK FE75Pro supports three connectivity modes: Wired (USB-C), 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0.

4.1 Wired Connection

Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

4.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Locate the 2.4GHz wireless receiver, typically stored in a compartment on the back of the keyboard.
2. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Slide the connectivity switch on the keyboard to the '2.4G' position.
4. The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press Fn + 4$ to initiate 2.4G pairing.

4.3 Bluetooth Connection

The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices.

1. Slide the connectivity switch on the keyboard to the 'BT' position.
2. To pair with a device, press and hold Fn + 1!, Fn + 2@, or Fn + 3# for 3-5 seconds until the corresponding indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
3. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices. Select "IROK FE75Pro" (or similar) from the list.
4. Once paired, the indicator light will stop flashing.
5. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, short press Fn + 1!, Fn + 2@, or Fn + 3#.
6. To clear all Bluetooth pairing records, press and hold Fn + -_ for 5 seconds.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Function Key Combinations

The keyboard features a dedicated Function (Fn) key to access secondary functions printed on the keycaps. Press and hold the Fn key, then press the desired function key.

5.2 RGB Backlight Customization

The FE75Pro features 16.8 million true color RGB lighting effects. You can cycle through various lighting modes, adjust brightness, speed, and color using the Fn key combinations listed above. For advanced customization, including specific lighting effects and sensitivity adjustments, use the IROK Driver software.

5.3 Hot-Swappable Switches

The FE75Pro is equipped with factory-lubricated mechanical switches that are hot-swappable. This allows you to replace the switches with other 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering, customizing the typing feel to your preference. Use the included switch puller to carefully remove switches.

5.4 Driver Software

The IROK driver software provides advanced customization options for backlighting, macros, and key sensitivity. To access the driver, short press Fn + Esc. The first time this combination is used, it will automatically open the driver download page. Ensure you download the official driver from the IROK website.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean your keyboard, power it off and disconnect any cables. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the keycaps and chassis. For deeper cleaning, use a keycap puller to remove keycaps and a can of compressed air to clear debris from between switches. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2 Battery Care

The keyboard is equipped with a 3800mAh battery. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently and store the keyboard in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. Charge the keyboard regularly.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Keyboard Not Responding

• Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
• Check the connectivity mode switch (BT, OFF, 2.4G) is set correctly.
• For wired mode, ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected.
• For 2.4GHz wireless, ensure the receiver is plugged in and the keyboard is in 2.4G mode. Try re-pairing with Fn + 4$.
• For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in BT mode and paired to the correct channel (Fn + 1/2/3). Try re-pairing if necessary.
• Check battery level and charge if low.

7.2 Backlighting Not Working

• Ensure backlighting is not turned off (Fn + F4).
• Increase brightness (Fn + F5).
• Check if the keyboard is in a low power state; charge the battery.

7.3 Keys Not Registering

• If individual keys are not working, ensure the switch is properly seated. Due to the hot-swappable design, switches can sometimes become dislodged.
• If multiple keys are affected, try restoring factory settings by long pressing Fn + Backspace.
