Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of the star base until they click securely into place.

2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base. Cover the gas lift with the gas lift cover.
3. Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws provided in the hardware pack, tightening them firmly with the Allen wrench.
4. Attach Armrests to Seat: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Do not overtighten initially to allow for minor adjustments.
5. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the mounting brackets on the seat cushion. Secure with the remaining screws. Once all screws are in place, tighten all armrest and backrest screws firmly.
6. Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the tapered end of the gas lift fits securely into the mechanism.

Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height:

• To raise the seat: While standing, pull the lever located on the right side of the chair upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever at the desired height.

• Tilt Tension Adjustment: Rotate the round knob located underneath the seat, at the front of the mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tilt tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).

Armrest Adjustment

The armrests are designed to flip up, allowing for easier positioning under a desk or when not needed.

• To flip up the armrests: Grasp the armrest and rotate it upwards until it locks into the vertical position.
• To lower the armrests: Gently pull the armrest downwards until it returns to the horizontal position.
