1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of the stroller. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury.

  • WARNING: Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
  • Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child.
  • Ensure the stroller is fully open and locked before placing a child inside.
  • Engage the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary.
  • Do not overload the storage basket. Maximum weight capacity for the basket is 6.5 lbs (2.9 kg).
  • The stroller is suitable for infants aged 0-36 months, with a maximum weight capacity of 33 lbs (15 kg).
  • Avoid placing hot liquids or heavy items on the handle.
  • This product meets US CPSIA & ASTM safety standards.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials until assembly is complete and you are satisfied with the product. Inspect all parts for any damage or missing items.

3.2 Initial Assembly (Minimal Assembly Required)

The INFANS Lightweight Baby Stroller comes largely pre-assembled. The main assembly steps involve unfolding the stroller and attaching the handrail.

  1. Unfolding: Place the folded stroller on a flat surface. Release the folding latch (if present). With one hand, press the folding button and lift the handle until the stroller frame clicks into its fully open and locked position. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.
  2. Attaching the Handrail: Align the ends of the detachable handrail with the designated slots on the stroller frame. Push firmly until they click into place. Ensure the handrail is securely attached before use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Unfolding the Stroller

To unfold the stroller, ensure the folding latch is disengaged. Hold the handle, press the folding button, and lift upwards until the frame locks into place. Listen for a click to confirm it is fully open.

4.2 Folding the Stroller

To fold the stroller, ensure the child is removed. Press the folding button located on the handle with one hand. The stroller will automatically collapse into a compact, self-standing position. Ensure all parts are securely folded before lifting or storing.

4.3 Adjusting the Backrest and Footrest

The backrest can be adjusted to various angles (100° to 145°) using the backrest adjusting rope mechanism located behind the seat. The footrest can also be adjusted to provide optimal comfort for your child.

4.4 Using the 5-Point Safety Harness

Always secure your child with the 5-point safety harness. Insert each buckle tongue into the central buckle until it clicks. Adjust the straps for a snug fit around your child's shoulders and waist. To release, press the button on the central buckle.

4.5 Adjusting the Canopy

The canopy can be extended or retracted to provide shade and protection from the elements. It features a peekaboo window for easy viewing of your child.

4.6 Engaging the Brakes

To engage the brakes, press down on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels with your foot. Ensure both wheels are locked before releasing the stroller. To release, lift the pedal upwards.

4.7 Detaching the Handrail

The handrail can be detached for easier access to your child or for cleaning. Press the release buttons on both sides of the handrail and pull it away from the frame.

4.8 Using the Storage Basket

A storage basket is located beneath the seat for carrying essential items. Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 6.5 lbs (2.9 kg).

5. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your stroller.

  • Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Allow to air dry completely.
  • Wheels: Periodically check wheels for debris and ensure they rotate freely. Clean any dirt or hair from the wheel axles.
  • Moving Parts: Occasionally check all moving parts, such as hinges and locking mechanisms, to ensure they operate smoothly. Do not lubricate.
  • Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your stroller, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly:
    • Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged before folding/unfolding.
    • Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
  • Wheels are stiff or do not rotate:
    • Remove any debris (e.g., hair, dirt) from the wheel axles.
    • Ensure the brakes are not engaged.
  • Brakes are not engaging/disengaging:
    • Check for any obstructions around the brake mechanism.
    • Ensure the brake pedal is fully pressed down or lifted up.
