Setup

Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the timer from its packaging. Inspect the device for any visible damage. Ensure all components, including the timer and the included AAA battery, are present.

Battery Installation

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment. If a plastic pull tab is present, remove it before inserting the battery.
Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.
Turn the timer ON using the power switch located on the back of the unit.

Operation

Controls Overview

The Ozeri Kitchen and Event Timer features three main buttons on its front face:

M (Minute) Button: Press to increase the minute setting. Hold to rapidly advance.
S (Second) Button: Press to increase the second setting. Hold to rapidly advance.
START/STOP Button: Initiates or pauses the timer. When the timer is running, pressing this button will pause it. Pressing again will resume.
CLEAR Function: To clear the set time, press both the M and S buttons simultaneously.

Setting the Timer (Countdown)

Ensure the timer is ON.
Press the M button to set the desired minutes.
Press the S button to set the desired seconds.
Once the time is set (maximum 99 minutes, 59 seconds), press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown.
To pause the countdown, press the START/STOP button again. Press it once more to resume.
When the countdown reaches zero, the alarm will sound. Press any button to silence the alarm.

Using as a Stopwatch (Count-up)

Ensure the timer is ON and the display shows "00:00". If not, press the M and S buttons simultaneously to clear any previous setting.
Press the START/STOP button to begin counting up.
To pause the stopwatch, press the START/STOP button. Press again to resume.
To reset the stopwatch to "00:00", pause the timer and then press the M and S buttons simultaneously.
