3. Setup Guide
3.1 Package Contents
Before proceeding, ensure all items are present in the package:
- G.SKILL KM250 RGB Mechanical Keyboard
- Detachable USB Type-C to Type-A Cable
- Keycap Puller Tool
- Switch Puller Tool

3.2 Connecting the Keyboard
- Locate the USB Type-C port on the back of the G.SKILL KM250 keyboard.
- Connect the smaller end of the provided USB Type-C cable into the keyboard's port.

- Connect the larger USB Type-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard will be automatically detected by your operating system. No additional drivers are typically required for basic functionality.
3.3 Adjusting Keyboard Height
The keyboard features 2-stage standoff feet on the underside, allowing you to adjust the typing angle for ergonomic comfort. Gently flip out the desired stage of feet to raise the keyboard.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Keyboard Functions
The G.SKILL KM250 functions as a standard 67-key keyboard. All standard alphanumeric and symbol keys operate as expected. The compact layout utilizes function layers for certain keys.
4.2 Function Key Combinations (Fn Key)
To access secondary functions printed on the keycaps, press and hold the Fn key (located near the right Alt key) and then press the desired function key.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

5.2 Replacing Keycaps and Switches (Hot-Swappable)
The G.SKILL KM250 supports hot-swappable mechanical switches, allowing for easy replacement without soldering. Use the provided tools for this process.
- Removing Keycaps: Gently use the keycap puller tool to grasp the keycap and pull straight up. Avoid twisting.

- Removing Switches: Once the keycap is removed, use the switch puller tool to gently clamp onto the top and bottom clips of the switch. Pull straight up with even pressure.
- Installing Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Gently push the switch straight down until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are not bent.
- Installing Keycaps: Place the keycap over the switch stem and press down firmly until it is seated.
6. Troubleshooting
