5. Maintenance and Storage Expansion
5.1 Storage Expansion
The NiPoGi AK1PLUS Mini PC allows for storage expansion to meet your growing needs. You can add a 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDD or replace the existing M.2 SSD.
- Power Off: Ensure the Mini PC is completely powered off and disconnected from the power source before proceeding.
- Access Storage Bay: Carefully open the bottom cover of the Mini PC to access the storage bay. Refer to the product's physical design for specific opening instructions.
- Install 2.5-inch Drive: If adding a 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDD, secure it into the designated slot and connect the SATA data and power cables.
- Install/Replace M.2 SSD: If replacing the M.2 SSD, gently remove the existing one and insert the new M.2 2280 NGFF SSD into the slot, securing it with the screw.
- Close Cover: Reattach the bottom cover securely.
- Initialize Drive: After booting the system, the new drive may need to be initialized and formatted through Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Linux) before it can be used.
