3.1 Front Panel

- Power Button: Press to turn the unit on or off.
- Input Indicators (1-4, AUTO): LEDs illuminate to show the currently selected HDMI input or if Auto-switching is active.
- IR Receiver: Receives signals from the included IR remote control. Ensure a clear line of sight.
- INPUT Button: Press to manually cycle through the HDMI input sources.

- Cycle Button: Press to switch to the next available HDMI input sequentially.
4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your OREI BK-401 HDMI Switch:
- Power Off Devices: Ensure all HDMI source devices (e.g., gaming consoles, Blu-ray players) and your display (TV, monitor) are powered off before making any connections.
- Connect HDMI Sources: Connect up to four HDMI source devices to the HDMI INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 3, and INPUT 4 ports on the rear panel of the BK-401 switch using high-quality HDMI cables.
- Connect to Display: Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the side of the BK-401 switch and the other end to an HDMI input port on your display.
- Connect Power: Plug the included 5V/1A power adapter into the DC 5V port on the rear panel of the BK-401 switch, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The power LED on the front panel should illuminate.

For cable lengths exceeding 25 feet, OREI recommends using fiber optic HDMI cables to maintain signal integrity and performance, especially for 8K resolutions.
5. Operating Instructions
The OREI BK-401 HDMI Switch offers both manual and automatic switching options.
5.1 Manual Switching
- Using the Front Panel Button: Press the "INPUT" button on the front panel of the BK-401 switch to cycle through the connected HDMI input sources (Input 1 → Input 2 → Input 3 → Input 4 → Input 1...). The corresponding LED indicator will light up.
- Using the IR Remote Control:
- Press the specific input button (IN1, IN2, IN3, or IN4) on the remote control to directly select the desired HDMI source.
- Alternatively, press the "Cycle" button on the remote to switch to the next active input.
5.2 Automatic Switching
The BK-401 switch supports automatic input detection. When a new HDMI source device is powered on or connected, the switch will automatically detect the signal and switch to that input. If the currently active source is powered off, the switch will attempt to find the next active input.
