Setup
Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the headset's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Connecting the Microphone
Insert the detachable microphone into the designated port on the left earcup until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly connected for clear communication.
Connectivity Modes
The Redragon H848 supports three connection modes: 2.4Ghz Wireless, Bluetooth (BT), and Wired (USB-C).

2.4Ghz Wireless Connection (Recommended for PC/PS5/PS4/PS3/Switch)
- Plug the 2.4Ghz USB wireless dongle into an available USB port on your device (PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch dock).
- Power on the headset. The headset will automatically attempt to connect to the dongle.
- Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will stabilize, and you will hear an audio prompt "Gaming mode, power ON".
- Ensure the headset is selected as the audio output and input device in your system settings.
Bluetooth (BT) Connection (Recommended for Smartphones/Tablets)
- Ensure the headset is powered on and not connected via 2.4Ghz wireless or USB-C cable.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button on the headset until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Redragon H848" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, the indicator light will stabilize.
Wired USB-C Connection (Recommended for PC/PS5/PS4/PS3/Switch)
- Connect the USB-C cable to the headset's USB-C port and the other end to a USB port on your device.
- The headset will automatically switch to wired mode. The headset indicator will turn on in red and blue.
- Ensure the headset is selected as the audio output and input device in your system settings.
Important Note: The headset cannot switch between Bluetooth and 2.4G mode when connected to PC/PS4/Devices by Type-C cable. The cable must be unplugged before switching modes.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button located on the earcup to turn the headset on or off.

Volume Control
Adjust the volume using the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons on the earcup.
Microphone Mute/Unmute
Press the microphone mute button to toggle the microphone on or off. A red indicator light on the microphone or headset may indicate mute status.
Audio Features
The H848 features 7.1 Surround Sound technology for an immersive audio experience. This feature is automatically enabled when connected via 2.4Ghz wireless or wired USB-C. The 40mm drivers provide a wide frequency range and rich sound fields.
